Singles and doubles knockout competition

Good morning. Tomorrow 1st February will be the opening of registration to the single and double knockout competition. And the closing date of registration will be 29th February.

there is 2 singles competitions this year 

there is a division 1 singles knockout. Which only division 1 players can enter.

there is a division 2 singles knockout which is only for division 2 

the player of division 1 and the player of division 2 will also play each other.

and there is a double knockout's competition. If you are playing the double knockout competition with a player that is not in your team then you will need to contact me to do it on your behalf as you cannot do this yourself  online but if you are playing with someone in your team then you can register online. 

If anyone has any problems then by all means contact me and I will help you navigate how to do it yourself. Or I can do it on your behalf 

All competitions you or your captain will be able to register on your behalf online.

Competitions  are £5 to enter ,so £5 per player for the single knockout  and £5 per doubles pair. 

You can pay by cash which you will need to give to me or Alan Bashford.  Or you can leave in an envelope behind the bar at the Woolpack for the attention of me or Alan .  And who it is paying for and what competition. Or you can pay by bank transfer  and those details will be available upon registration online. All payments will need to be received by the closing date of registration  or you will not be entered into the competition. 

All venues that have players entered into the competitions will have a chance of having the competition held at their venue for some of the matches. Some venues may be excluded due to table size and location. 

The finals will be refereed by the committee and on a neutral table and also live streamed to the facebook page and group. 

All  players will need a login which your captain can do for you. And they will also need to download an app which is currently in trial at the moment for RackEmApp and only a select few have got access to it to trial it.  The app is going live in March. If any other captains want to trial this app before it goes live then contact me for a link.
